     For 75 years Unioto High School has produced Alumni that are transforming society into better
places to live and to work. Doctors, lawyers, engineers, accountants, teachers, business leaders, entrepreneurs and many more professionals in and around the world look back to the foundation of learning that they achieved while at Unioto. We are as proud of them as they are to call themselves Shermans!   
       With a staunch history in the Chillicothe/Ross County community, Unioto High School sets the bar on academics achieving “Excellent” ratings on the Ohio Department of Education State Report card yearly. The advent of Open Enrollment in the state of Ohio has developed Unioto in to the “school of choice” for Ross and surrounding counties. Advanced enrichment courses, coordinated career based and post secondary option opportunities, as well as virtual and flex credit programs, combine with the state required curriculum to cohesively prepare all students’ for their future interest beyond high school.
      Extra-curricular opportunities abound independently and in the deeply rooted Scioto Valley Conference (SVC). Unioto consistently waves the “All Sports Banner” that is awarded to the league member school that garners the most ranking points from all three sport seasons. The performing and visual arts are additionally recognized as some of the finest in southern Ohio with an outstanding Auditeria in which to perform.
